Dehumidifiers
Condensation and desiccant dehumidification for commercial and industrial moisture control.
Overview
What it does
Flow Dynamics supplies industrial and commercial dehumidifiers across the UAE, where humidity control is a year-round requirement. Condensation dehumidifiers use a refrigeration cycle to pull moisture out of the air at temperatures above roughly 15 °C, and desiccant dehumidifiers use a slowly rotating silica-gel or molecular-sieve wheel to reach the very low dew points required by cold-storage rooms, lithium battery production, and pharmaceutical suites. Both technologies are available as standalone portables, ducted wall units, and large rooftop systems.
How it works
The working principle
A condensation dehumidifier draws room air across a cold evaporator coil. Moisture condenses on the fins and drains away, and the dried air is reheated by the condenser and returned to the space. A desiccant unit draws process air through one sector of a rotating wheel impregnated with silica gel or molecular sieve, the dry desiccant strips moisture out of the air. The wheel rotates continuously; on the opposite side, a small reactivation airstream is heated to 120–140 °C, passes through the wheel, and drives the moisture out to be rejected outdoors.
Applications
Where it's used
Typical installations across the UAE and wider Gulf include:
- Indoor swimming pools and spa halls
- Cold storage and freezer antechambers
- Water-damage restoration sites
- Pharmaceutical production and warehouses
- Archives, museums, and server rooms
- Lithium battery and electronics manufacturing

FAQ
Common questions
Condensation or desiccant, which technology do I need?
Condensation units are efficient above roughly 15 °C and suit pools, warehouses and restoration work. Desiccant wheels reach the very low dew points needed by cold stores, pharma and battery production. The application decides; we confirm the selection.
What moisture load does my space produce?
Send us the application, airflow or demand figures, and any consultant specification. Our engineers reply with a defended selection, datasheets and submittal documentation. Sizing is always confirmed by an engineer, never by a web calculator.
Can dehumidifiers integrate with the BMS?
Yes. Commercial and industrial units carry humidistat control as standard and BMS integration on request, so setpoints and alarms sit inside your building management system.
