01 · Healthcare
Mediclinic Hospital Expansion, Airport Road
- The brief
- A major hospital expansion needed operating-theatre-grade air on a live medical campus. The specification called for certified terminal HEPA filtration in the critical suites and bag-in / bag-out containment on hazardous exhaust streams, every unit documented for handover.
- What we delivered
- Terminal HEPA filters, individually scan-tested and certified, plus BIBO containment housings that let loaded filters be withdrawn into a sealed bag so contaminated media never contacts maintenance staff. Full submittal documentation against the consultant specification.
- The result
- The expansion handed over with compliant critical-environment air throughout. Mediclinic returned to Flow Dynamics for both packages of the expansion, and healthcare remains one of our strongest sectors.
02 · Healthcare
SEHA network UV-C programme
- The brief
- Hospital air-handling units in Gulf humidity grow biofilm on cooling coils and drain pans, degrading heat transfer and seeding odour and infection risk. Al Rahba Hospital and two further SEHA facilities needed their germicidal UV capacity restored and extended without interrupting hospital operations.
- What we delivered
- Replacement UV-C lamp arrays at Al Rahba Hospital, germicidal lamp installations at AHS Clinic, and a UVC system for the DPSC Pink Room, each mounted so the lamps continuously sterilise the coil face and drain pan while the AHU runs.
- The result
- Three engagements across the SEHA network in two years, coils kept clean by light instead of chemicals, and a working relationship with the largest healthcare operator in Abu Dhabi.
03 · Entertainment
Cinema kitchens: Reel and VOX
- The brief
- Cinema food and beverage kitchens sit deep inside occupied malls and towers, where landlords require treated exhaust before discharge into shared shafts. Grease, smoke and odour from high-volume popcorn and casual dining had to be removed at source at three premium venues.
- What we delivered
- Multi-stage ecology units sized to each kitchen exhaust load: Reel Cinema at Al Ghurair Centre in Dubai, VOX Cinemas at Al Reem Mall, and VOX Cinemas at Nation Towers on the Corniche.
- The result
- Three flagship cinema venues discharging clean, odour-free air into landlord shafts, and repeat business from VOX after the first installation, the strongest endorsement a supplier can get.
04 · Residential
Al Mirfaa community, 410 villas
- The brief
- A full national housing community in the Al Dhafra region needed domestic hot water in every villa: 410 homes, one specification, staged handovers, and Gulf water chemistry that punishes unprotected tanks.
- What we delivered
- Glass-lined electric storage water heaters with magnesium anode protection supplied across the entire development, with deliveries staged to match the fit-out programme villa by villa.
- The result
- All 410 villas equipped on schedule. The project remains our reference for development-scale supply: one line item, multiplied by a whole community, delivered without slipping the programme.
05 · Government
Explosive & Weapon Centre, Al Ain
- The brief
- Service bays for police vehicles concentrate diesel exhaust exactly where technicians work. A specialist Abu Dhabi Police facility needed source-capture extraction that keeps bay air clean without slowing vehicle movements in and out.
- What we delivered
- A source-capture vehicle exhaust extraction system across the service bays: high-temperature hoses and capture nozzles connected to a central extract network, pulling fume directly from the tailpipe before it reaches the technician.
- The result
- Clean bay air at a security-critical government facility, delivered against a demanding approval process, and a reference that opened further public-sector work.
06 · Commercial
KIZAD Data Centre airflow diagnostics
- The brief
- In a high-density data centre, cooling airflow is uptime. The operator of a KIZAD facility needed an independent engineering inspection of its cooling airflow before issues could grow into thermal events.
- What we delivered
- A structured airflow inspection and diagnostic report by our engineers, verifying how air actually moved through the white space and plant against how the design said it should.
- The result
- The operator got an engineering answer instead of a sales pitch, findings they could act on. It is why consultants use us: we diagnose before we ever quote hardware.
07 · Residential
Shatei Al Raha residential programme
- The brief
- A multi-tower waterfront district where every residential block needed kitchen exhaust treatment: electrostatic precipitators and ecology units to landlord specification, plus fixes for the buildings that came to us with problems, not drawings.
- What we delivered
- ESP and ecology unit packages across multiple buildings and plots in the district, RBW7, RBW4, RBW-02 and others, a liquid spray odour-control system, and troubleshooting engagements on existing installations, over eight separate contracts with ADCE.
- The result
- A four-year running relationship with one contractor across one district. When the same client keeps signing, across new supply, added scope and rescue work, the equipment and the support are both doing their job.
08 · Schools
ADEK school buildings, Baniyas North
- The brief
- Three new public school buildings under the ADEK programme, BN01, BN04 and BN07, needed domestic hot water plant delivered to a government construction schedule with full submittal compliance.
- What we delivered
- Electric water heater packages for all three school buildings, supplied to AL DAR against the project specification with the documentation a public-sector handover requires.
- The result
- Three schools, three on-time packages, one specification executed consistently. Education infrastructure is repeat-format work, exactly where a disciplined supplier compounds value.
09 · Agriculture
Vertical farming & conservation air distribution
- The brief
- Two unusual environments, a vertical farm where draught-free uniform airflow decides crop consistency, and a conservation storage facility at Sweihan, both needed air distribution that sheet metal handles poorly: even, gentle, washable.
- What we delivered
- Engineered textile fabric duct systems with perforation patterns designed for each space, uniform low-velocity air along the full duct length, machine-washable, and a fraction of the weight of metal.
- The result
- Uniform growing-room airflow for the farm and clean, even distribution for the conservation store, proof that the range covers frontier applications, not just standard MEP.
