Textile Fabric Ducts

What it does

Flow Dynamics supplies textile fabric duct systems across the UAE. Fabric ducts replace heavy galvanised sheet metal with a lightweight, washable, colour-matched polyester textile engineered for uniform air distribution. The fabric is porous or perforated to release air along the entire length of the duct, giving an even, draught-free supply that metal diffusers cannot match. Fabric ducting is the standard specification for food factories, gyms, schools, and pool halls, anywhere hygiene, noise, or visual design matters.

The working principle

The duct itself acts as the diffuser. Engineered perforation patterns, porous micro-weaves, and nozzle inserts are arranged along the duct length so air is released with a precisely designed jet pattern, from gentle throughout-the-room dispersion to targeted high-throw nozzles aimed at a specific workstation. Fabric inflates under pressure when the fan starts and deflates when it stops. The textile can be removed by unzipping, machine-washed, and re-installed in under an hour, far easier than cleaning a metal duct network.
